Island eco-hotel, Caribbean coast of Colombia

I filmed this during my own stay. It was not a commission: I shot it to show what a property receives after one visit. First the two videos, then the photos in two sets.

Case 02

Lakeside hotel in winter, Kvareli, Kakheti

Two days at a hotel by a lake at the foot of the Caucasus, with snow all around. Here the photos go zone by zone, the way a guest moves through the hotel. Frames with a guest sit next to the empty spaces: together they show how the place is used.

For restaurants and cafés

A dish or a drink being made, the dining room at its busiest and its quietest, the team at work. Plus photos for your menu, delivery apps and social media. A menu shoot takes about three hours: 5–6 videos and 15–20 photos.

How I work

I’m not an influencer. You get the content itself.

  • You get finished videos and photos, not a post on someone else’s feed.
  • I don’t sell reach or followers. The value is in the files and your right to use them.
  • You can pay with a fee, with a stay or meals at your place, or with a mix. The list of files is agreed in writing either way.

This is content for social media and listings. It doesn’t replace the architectural shoot you do once every few years. It keeps your channels alive between them.

Content in exchange

You host me. I deliver the content.

I also work in exchange: for a stay at a hotel or guesthouse, for lunches and dinners at a restaurant or café. We agree on the dates, the number of videos and photos and how you can use them, the same way as for a paid shoot. The prices above show what this work costs as a fee.

Suggest dates

Restaurants and cafés. A menu shoot takes about three hours: 5–6 videos and 15–20 photos. You can start with a short trial shoot, for a fee or in exchange for meals.

The price depends on location and scope. I name a fixed price, or the terms of an exchange, before we agree on a date.

Helen Bloom

I have been a photographer for more than fifteen years, with a background as an art director and stylist. Most of that time I worked with people in front of the camera, so the guests in my videos look natural, not staged.

Today I film hotels, guesthouses, restaurants and cafés. I’m based in Tbilisi and travel for shoots.
